Hi [subscriber:firstname | default:subscriber],

Thank you for subscribing. I just want to give you an update on what is happening.

  1. We are continuing to record dog-on-dog attacks on Facebook in the hope that our authorities will come to realise that there is a real problem
  2. My Petition to Sutton Council for a Designated Area for Small Dogs was rejected last night. Unfortunately there was not sufficient time to discuss the proposal and there were several misunderstandings. For example assuming that small dogs could only use this area and not the rest of the park. There also appears to be the assumption that, somehow, it is normal dog interaction that has gone wrong in an attack.
  3. Made some useful connections at the Council meeting however and will be following these up in the weeks/months to come.
  4. Tom Brake was my MP when I started this campaign and was supportive throughout until he lost his seat in the last election.
  5. Saw my new MP, Elliot Colburn, last week and thankfully he is a massive dog lover and going to pick up the campaign from where Tom left off.
  6. I have also set up an online form to record attacks. Please share whenever you get the opportunity.
  7. Don't forget that as a member you can get a discount on the puncture proof, made to measure, Doggy Armour coats
  8. Finally we are continuing to promote the Responsible Pet Parent Programme underpinned by DogDNA. Will have more information shortly.
Once again thank you for your support and please contact me if you have ideas on how to promote our cause.

Thanks for reading. See you soon!
